Happy April from Park City, Utah!
This year April showers bought us powder! While some are focused on beach vaca’s we’re enjoying the last of the season’s great snow and weather.
We got to ski the new expanded terrain in Deer Valley – We are thrilled for this future addition to an already exceptional mountain resort! The expansiveness of the area and quality of the terrain being added will make it an even more well-rounded ski mountain for all ability levels to enjoy. We also attended the SnowPark Development and saw the newly unveiled proposed plans for parking lot and Ski Village redevelopment. Many changes to be excited for around here!
Lastly. we are delighted to launch our new listing to the world – The Crown Chalet – it is one of the most spectacular homesites in all of Bald Eagle and Deer Valley. if you have been dreaming of a new mountain cabin, this may just be it! or maybe a friend of yours would like to buy it and you can visit… please contact me if you are ready for a new spot to call home in these magical mountains of Utah.

Deer Valley Updates
Deer Valley held a public presentation to release updated plans for the redevelopment of the Snow Park base area. Our sense from attending the meeting is that Deer Valley has modified and improved the plans with significant input from neighboring residents and homeowners’ associations.
Abbi’s observation is that the plan is akin to a very high-end airport departure area with separate underground levels for private vehicles and public transport, then elevators and escalators to bring skiers vertically onto the snow. A gondola is proposed to connect Snow Park with Silver Lake and then continue to Park Peak (the mountain behind Bald Mountain). Another gondola is planned to continue to Deer Valley’s new East Village.

2024 Resort Report
The 2024 The annual Resort Report from Summit Sotheby’s International Realty focuses on real estate data, comparing prominent ski and mountain communities across eight states throughout the Mountain West. Built in collaboration with Sotheby’s International Realty companies from Vail to Jackson, Lake Tahoe to Aspen, this report dynamically compares and contrasts some of the most sought-after outdoor recreation locations in the world. The real estate market has stabilized in resort towns throughout the Western United States since the frenzied pace seen in 2021-2022. In 2023 we saw a dip in several key metrics including the number of properties sold, however, the average sold price increased in 14 of the 17 resort markets covered in this report.
