The Olympic Park area is located just north of Canyons Resort and offers easy access to both Park City and Kimball Junction. The area is named for the Utah Olympic Park which hosted events for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in ski jumping, bobsled, luge and skeleton. Additionally the park features a summer aerial freestyle training pool where the public may watch athletes train and also join training programs open to the public. The Alf Engen Ski Museum provides a look into Utah’s skiing heritage. Summer activities open to the public include a zip line, alpine slide and bobsled rides.
The single family neighborhoods of Cedar Draw, Mahogany Hills and Willow Draw Cottages offer views to the ski slopes of Canyons Resort as well as Deer Valley. Cedar Draw Estates features larger homesites with privacy and mountain views. Neighborhood residents enjoy easy access to Rob’s Trail, a local favorite which connects to the Mid-Mountain Trail. A neighborhood swim and tennis facility is supported by various homeowner’s associations.
Two planned communities, Bear Hollow Village and the Cove at Sun Peak offer single family home and condominiums in townhome and stacked configurations. Bus service to Park City is available allow State Road U-224 as known as the Ten Mountain Division Memorial Highway after the mountain troops who fought in the World War II.
