Silver Springs
12- SILVER SPRINGS
The Silver Springs area is comprised of several subdivisions which have been developed around the Silver Springs lakes. These neighborhoods are just beyond Park City limits and offer the convenience and feel of living in-town but at a more affordable price. Once considered a bit out of the way, the location now feels very central with the addition of supermarkets, shops and theatres at Kimball Junction. Bike paths connect into town as well as to Kimball Junction and a bus runs through the neighborhood.
Silver Springs offers primarily single family homes on spacious sites and also some townhomes close to Parley’s Park Elementary School. Home sizes and styles vary considerably as most were built by individual builders. North Shore sits on the north end of the larger lake and Southshore centers around a small lake. A neighborhood park provides a play ground and lake access for paddle sports and there are also neighborhood tennis courts.
Snyder’s Mill was built later by one developer and has a very consistent neighborhood feel. Ranch Place is an expansive and newer area of single family homes some of which are adjacent to the Swaner Nature Preserve. Nearby is the Willow Creek Park which offers tennis courts, play fields and a trail head for cross country ski trails. Canyons Resort is close by and access to I-80 is close without feeling too close.
