Aerie
7 – AERIE
The Aerie neighborhood offers some of the most spectacular views in Park City. Historically the area was known as Masonic Hill and was largely undeveloped until the early 1980’s. While it is adjacent to Deer Valley Drive and has easy access to both Deer Valley Resort and Main Street, many full time residents and most visitors hardly know it exists. A short drive up either Aerie Drive or Mellow Mountain Road reveals a community surrounded by open space and trails. The Aerie Subdivision along the uppermost ridge contains 99 single family homesites offering an eclectic mix of homes ranging from contemporary to log. The Overlook at Old Town Subdivision contains 10 homesites situated above City Park. April Mountain Subdivision offers 33 single family homesites and 39 townhomes know as The Seasons at April Mountain all with a sunny south facing aspect.
The area’s full time and vacation owners are drawn by the panoramic views stretching from the peaks of Deer Valley around to the Wasatch Crest above Park City Mountain Resort the Canyons Resort and north to Lewis Peak. April Mountain offers an exceptional vantage to enjoy the lights of the Historic District. Because the homes in the Aerie are located closer to the mountains than in other neighborhoods the perspective is more dramatic. A network of hiking and mountain biking trails including Lost Prospector, Masonic and Gambel Oak ring the neighborhood and connect into the city’s extensive trail system.
