The holiday season in Park City was active with visitors enjoying sunny days for outdoor recreation activities – alpine & nordic skiing, moonlight snowshoeing, ski touring, etc, as well as shopping and dining on Main Street. Trees were dressed in lights, torchlight parades cascaded down the ski runs, and we enjoyed festive visits with friends and parades cascaded down the ski runs, and we enjoyed festive visits with friends and clients.
Park City Mountain Resort is celebrating its 60th year of skiing and riding operations this season. My grandma has tales of riding the mine carts into the mountain side then up in an elevator shaft to the top of Thaynes run as her first Park City skiing experience!!) Meanwhile, Deer Valley and Park City Municipal entered into a $30 million partnership centered aroundSnow Park day parking lot redevelopment, including affordable housing and a new transportation hub. In the coming weeks, Park City will host the annual Sundance Film Festival, now in its 40th year!
